Reviews In A Pinch

When You Just Need an honest review in a pinch.

Dead(ish)

by Naomi Kramer

Overview (from B&N.com):  Linda’s had a bad day.  First her boyfriend killed her.  Then she woke up, still on this boring plane of existence, and with an odd obsession about her missing body.  Mike won’t tell her what he did with her body and she can’t find the stupid thing herself.  There’s only one thing she can do – torment the bastard until he coughs up the information.  Warning:  Contains adult themes and frequent profanity.

This was a short “novelette” (104 pages on the Nook) by Naomi Kramer, the first in a series.  The writing left a lot to be desired.  The characters were not likable, not even the ghost looking for her body.  There was a ton of unnecessary profanity that added nothing to the story.  Then you get to the end and I was full on disgusted with the way the author decided to take the story.  It’s a waste of time to read this.  I would not recommend it.
